It is located in Lunds at the head of the Mallerstang Valley.

It is 6 miles away from Hawes that has all the amenities one would expect from a popular town.

Although very rural and in an unique location it is not in any way isolated.

The Cottage interior has been renovated to an uncompromising high standard, mixing original features with a craftsman built interior.

As the owners of Blades Cottage we love to spend time here ourselves and so we ensure the highest standards of accommodation within a cosy and characterful cottage.

The cottage offers stylish yet comfortable accommodation, with a contemporary open plan layout. The downstairs has porcelain tiles over underfloor heating, with a beautiful light living room with log burning stove, open to a quality modern kitchen with integrated appliances.

Upstairs, there is a beautiful master bedroom with en-suite shower room and a further single bedroom.

There is also a downstairs bathroom.

No smoking at this property. Mobile phone signal is variable.

Please note the approach to the property is via a well-maintained gravel track.

The property has a spring fed water supply. The stairs are open tread and open sided with a handrail fitted to the wall on one side.

Wi-Fi:

We have made a conscious decision not to have Wi-Fi at Blades Cottage, so it is a real retreat.

A mobile phone booster has been fitted to the property, a good phone signal, 3G & 4G are available indoors.

The cottage sources water from a private spring. The water is ION and UV-filtered and tested safe for drinking.
